Leasing can be a good way to get a newer vehicle for a payment you can afford. It also usually ties you to an automobile for a shorter period of time than a purchase loan does, usually two or three years. Of course, that means you have a decision to make after a couple of years. We here at O. C. Welch Ford Lincoln Inc. want you to know what considerations you will face at lease end.

The main consideration when your lease is ending is what you will do with the car. Usually, you have two choices based on your lease agreement. You can buy the car based on the agreed-to price or you can turn in your lease.

When considering what to do with the car, you have some additional considerations. Do you like it? Are you getting a good price if you buy? Is there damage to the car that would cost you additional money if you turn it in. These are all things to think about.
