The Ford Bronco Sport combines the look and capabilities of the full-size, body-on-frame Bronco with a unibody construction of typical SUVs to give drivers across Hardeeville, Beaufort, Port Royal, or Hilton Head, SC, or Savannah, GA, a little bit of the best of both.

Like other vehicles, it's available in a range of trim levels and options packages to fit any driver's needs. O.C. Welch Ford is happy to offer you this look at the 2021 Ford Bronco Sport trim levels.

What are the Ford Bronco Sport Trim Levels?

There are five Ford Bronco Sport trim levels. The entry-level trim is the Base, followed by:

  • Big Bend
  • Outer Banks
  • Badlands
  • First Edition

Each trim level builds onto the one before it in terms of feature availability.

Ford Bronco Sport Base

The base Ford Bronco Sport is powered by a 1.5-liter 3-cylinder turbo engine that delivers 181 horsepower and 190 lb-ft of torque mated to an 8-speed transmission. You get four-wheel drive out of the gate, plus features like the SYNC® 3 infotainment system with an 8-inch touchscreen.

Other features include a six-speaker sound system and a smartphone app that lets you remotely control and monitor vehicle functions. All Bronco Sport trims also come with the Ford Co-Pilot360™ safety features. These include front crash mitigation, lane-keeping, and blind-spot monitoring features to help keep you safe.

Ford Bronco Sport Big Bend

The Big Bend Bronco Sport adds to the above some comfort and convenience features. These include privacy glass in the rear, keyless ignition and entry, extra small-item storage, upgraded stain-resistant upholstery, a rubberized cargo floor, and heated mirrors. Fog lights and cargo straps round out the offerings here.

Ford Bronco Sport Outer Banks

The Outer Banks starts to add a few upscale features and a luxury touch or two. At this level, you add features like leather upholstery, remote start, heated and power front seats, and a heated, leather-wrapped steering wheel.

You also get ambient interior lighting and a household-style power outlet. Extra driver aids include automatic heated wipers and parking sensors in the rear.

Ford Bronco Sport Badlands

The Badlands builds off the Big Bend rather than the Outer Banks. It adds an upgraded 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four engine that gives you 250 horsepower and 277 lb-ft of torque with off-road specific features. These include skid plates, tow hooks, upgraded suspension, all-terrain tires, Trail Control™, upgraded four-wheel drive, and rubberized flooring.

Comfort and convenience features include a digital instrument panel and a household-style power outlet.

Ford Bronco Sport First Edition

The First Edition is the anything goes trim. It gets everything above, plus it adds larger tires, a roof rack with crossbars, and a sunroof. You also get a Class II tow hitch and receiver with trailer sway control.

Inside, you add wireless device charging and a premium 10-speaker, Bang & Olufsen sound system.
